Basse-Pointe Advisors Limited ("BPA") supports investors to achieve and exceed their investment objectives.   Focusing on the corporate credit, private markets and alternatives asset classes, BPA identifies suitable opportunities, performs due diligence, and assists with investment negotiation, structuring, and transaction execution on behalf of its clients.

BPA works with prospective and existing issuers to raise capital.  BPA helps develop and execute the fundraising strategy, prepare the investor documentation, coordinate the investor due diligence process, and negotiate the capital-raising transaction.

BPA brings to bear extensive commercial experience in leveraged finance, private equity and alternatives assets, gained working in senior roles on the sell-side and the buy-side.

BPA’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Serge Ramin, has worked in the financial services industry for more than 25 years, both on the sell-side and the buy-side.  He has held senior roles, including MD, Leveraged Finance Origination for Bear Stearns, Head of Research for CQS, a credit-focused hedge fund, and SVP, Global Risk and Governance for Hudson AM, the asset management arm of Lone Star funds, the private equity group.

Serge Ramin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an undergraduate business degree from Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP).
